Scripture-Inspired Recipes
Simple, wholesome recipes built around foods named in the scriptures: barley and wheat, lentils, figs, dates, honey, olive oil, fish and grain. The Word of Wisdom (Doctrine and Covenants 89) speaks of grains, and of herbs and fruit in their season, used "with prudence and thanksgiving." These are meals to make with kindness, patience and charity, and to share. Whether or not scripture is part of your life, these are good meals to cook and share.
