A Day of Rest Setting aside one day a week to slow down.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy." Exodus 20:8, KJV For thousands of years, people have turned to a weekly day of rest, whether as a Sabbath or simply an unhurried day. Plan it ahead: less work, less hurry, and more time with family, faith, nature and quiet.
Caution: Start small, even half a day, and keep it free from guilt.
See a doctor or licensed counselor if things feel severe, last more than a few days, or keep coming back.
